Nancy Mango
Nancy has been a social worker for over 30 years. Her concentration has been on adolescents. She recently retired as the Bright Futures Coordinator for Bright Futures Frederick/Winchester. She was in this role for 7.5 years. Before taking on this position, Nancy was employed by Frederick County Public Schools for 14 years, she was a Family Support Specialist for 4 years, a Truancy Officer for 8 years, and has also been a Middle School Coordinator for Substance Abuse/Violence Prevention Specialist and Trainer for 1 ½ years. Nancy is a mother of a 26-year old daughter who is a Case Manager for an Abused Women’s Shelter and a Girl Scout for over 30 years. She enjoys working with kids and teaching them outdoors skills. A little known fact about Nancy is that she is a certified Archery Instructor.
