Nancy Masterson
Nancy served for 24 years on the Camdenton R-III School Board. She attended the School Safety Academy in Branson in 2021 and received certification as a School Safety Specialist. Additionally Nancy has over 200 CEU’s and attended over 300 regional, statewide, and national conferences/meetings over the years and has the distinction few have earned, having all four – Essential, Advanced, Masters, and Distinguished Board Member Certifications.
Nancy received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and taught special education Junior High students for four years in Columbia. Realizing her life-long dream of working in the out-of-doors, she worked as a Missouri State Park Superintendent for 43 years. In this career, she had the opportunity to teach folks in an outdoor setting, utilized management and personnel skills, protected natural resources, and was a certified law enforcement officer in Camden County. Her husband is a substance abuse counselor. They have three married children and three grandchildren.
