Elizabeth Brown
Biography:
Elizabeth Brown is completing her 30th year in her educational career. Beginning as a classroom teacher and moving through the ranks to a Principal, Mrs. Brown serves the school community of Forest High School in Ocala, Florida. She began her time at Forest High directly after an active shooter incident and has since led the school community of 2500 students and staff. Elizabeth is a charter member of the Principal Recovery Network through the NASSP. The PRN is comprised of school leaders that have all experienced a violent act on their school’s campus or led a school through the direct aftermath. The PRN serves as a resource to other school leaders with similar experiences as well as advocates for changes to national and state level school safety policies and funding.
