Biography
Patrick Ireland is a Columbine High School graduate, survivor, and national level speaker. During the spring of his junior year of high school, Pat’s life took a dramatic change. On April the 20th, 1999, two students embarked on a shooting rampage at Columbine High School in Littleton, CO, killing 12 students and a teacher, as well as wounding 23 others, before taking their own lives. Pat was shot twice in the head, and once in the foot, and was left for dead. Despite this horrific experience and his life-threatening injuries, Patrick survived. These experiences and his positive, can-do attitude have led to the opportunity to share his story of strength, courage, and overcoming obstacles to a variety of business, youth, and school organizations.
