After A Tragedy: Supporting Schools and Communities

While we cover The Covenant School community in Nashville with our prayers, and support our Tennessee colleagues and community members through the unthinkable tragedy of today, we ask that each of you, members of our larger school safety community, remain especially vigilant and supportive of one another. Less than a week has passed since the devastating shooting attack on two staff members at East High School, in Denver, where families and community members are still reeling from shock and a shattered sense of safety.

Though geography separates us, the ripples of yet another senseless school tragedy have impact upon each of us as individuals, as communities, and collectively. We will not give up working for the future our children deserve, a future where every student, every teacher, and every community is truly safe and sound.
