About the Safe and Sound Institute®

The Safe and Sound Institute® presents regional Summits, workshops and trainings with national level experts in school safety to actively engage and connect all stakeholders in the process of improving school safety. Connecting stakeholders, building common language, and setting the foundation for collaborative work, our Summits, workshops, and trainings bring together regional stakeholders for greater impact and the long-lasting relationships required to ensure school safety.

States, regions, counties, and districts can maximize their resources by bringing together the multiple agencies, professions, and perspectives required for a truly collaborative and meaningful approach to school safety, increasing efficiency and productivity to rethink school safety.

Safe and Sound Schools® tailors each Summit, workshop, and training session to the unique needs of local stakeholders and communities in the form of stand-alone events, or as part of a regional or state tour to reach more stakeholders in a shorter time frame. This concentrated focus builds collaboration, increases resource sharing and builds networks for continued school safety improvement. Participants interact, learn and share best practices, and become resources to each other as they assess, act and audit their school safety efforts, together.
